Professional Development
PSMB employs practical and immersive learning methods that encourage students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. In one such instance, while studying the ‘Air’ chapter in their sixth-grade class, students learned about air quality and the role of plants in purifying the atmosphere. Through this lesson, they discovered that plants absorb harmful gases from the air and sequester them in their roots and cells while releasing fresh and healthy oxygen.
To put this knowledge into practice, students organized a plantation drive day in Mirpur Bathoro District under the guidance of Mr Abdul Ghaffar, a science teacher at PSMB. By bringing plants to their city, they aimed to improve air quality and promote the importance of environmental conservation. This practical learning experience allowed students to apply their theoretical knowledge and positively impact their community.

RDF’s education team is committed to monitoring and improving the quality of education at PSMB. They regularly meet with teaching staff to discuss the teaching-learning process and provide suggestions for improvement. In addition, they offer a plaƞorm for professional development to ensure that teachers are equipped with the necessary skills to provide high-quality education.
To ensure that all protocols are in place for the benefit of the students, the quality framework cluster has been established. Comprised of Mr Ashfaq Ahmed (ED), Mr Masood Ahmed (Director), Mr Jamil Ahmed (Program Manager), Ms Zohra Solangi (Principal STEM School Hyderabad), the Principal, and Coordinator PSMB, this team works closely to ensure that all aspects of the educational process are carefully monitored and continuously improved.
